How to use Axialis Professional Screen Saver Producer

How to make a Slide Show screen saver continued...

Click on the Slide Properties tab and you'll see this...

Except for the green circles of course, I added these to show you that you have two ways to add slides in the begining.

Here are the images I will be using in this tutorial all zipped up for you Ellie's Sunsets be sure to read the readme for instructions and copyright info.

Click on one of the circled areas now to add some images, hold down your cursor and drag over all images you want to add or press the Ctrl key while clicking multiple images.

Click on open and all sprites will be opened, you can open them one at a time but this is much easier. You have probably noticed that 1. all of the sprites are selected and 2. they aren't in order.

Let's fix that, first click your mouse outside the slides (in the white area) to deselect. Now click and hold down your mouse button and drag Sunset1.jpg to the begining or right click and select Bring to the begining.

If Sunset4 isn't at the end right click on it and select Send to the end. They should now be in the correct order (Sunset1, 2, 3, 4).

Click on Sunset1 to select it, you'll notice that the file name is entered in the Name field (this is done by default). We want to change this to something more discriptive. I am going to change mine to Pink Sunset. Then you can add a Description of the image, or if I'm using someone else's image I put they're copyright here. In this instance I'm using this: A lovely pink sunset by the beach. You can use anything you want.

I'm leaving Random Transition for the Transition Effect but if you go through them and see one that you like better then the rest you can choose that. I like it to be different every time so I almost always chose Random. (click on the down arrow to change effects)

Duration I usually leave at 10, like now, but sometimes make it longer depending on your preferences. You can also base it on an Associated Sound which will show the slide as long as the sound. If the sound file is 20 seconds long the slide will be shown for 20 seconds.

Take a look at Associate sound for a second. I know we aren't using this feature but look anyway lol You have two choices, you can use the Default Music (which you set by click on the Default Music tab) and Specificwhich only plays with that one slide and none other (unless you set it to play on another)

You can also mute the default music during the time this slide is shown. There are also two other options here, save a copy in project and repeat. It is not recommended to check Save a copy in project for larger files and don't check repeat if you set the slide to show as long as the associated sound.

Next is Display Size, you have two options here and those are Scale 1:1 and Maximized (keep ratio). With Scale 1:1 the image (as far as I know is shows at 100% and Maximized (keep ratio) the image is maximized to full screen. I rarely use Maximized because I don't really like the way it looks. For this instance check Scale 1:1.

Click on the second slide and do the same as above (Name, Description is the only thing that changes) and the same for the third and fourth.

This is what I used for the other images.
Sunset2 = Name: Pink Sunset 2 Description: Another lovely pink sunset by the beach.
Sunset3 = Name: Orange Sunset Description: A lovely orange sunset by the beach.
Sunset4 = Name: Final Sunset Description: Seconds before the sun fades away.

Click on the arrow below to continue....
