How to make a screen saver

First things first. Click on File-New Screen Saver Project or Ctrl+N. This will bring up this window.

Here you will choose the type of screen saver you want to make.

Sprite Based Screen Saver

This screen saver is composed of several animated sprites moving over a static background. Many effects available: sounds, collistions, bouncing objects, etc.

Slide Show Based Screen Saver

The screen saver is made of several photos displaying on screen like a slide show. Several options like music, transition effects, delay, etc.

Shockwave Flash Based Screen Saver

Create a screen saver based on a Macromedia Shockwave Flash animation. The animation can be displayed fullscreen or at a specific size.

Video Based Screen Saver

Create a screen saver based on a video file (Windows AVI, Apple QuickTime or RealMedia). The video can be displayed fullscreen or at a specific size.

FLI/FLC Animation Based Screen Saver

Creat a screen saver based on an Autodesk FLI/FLC animation. The animation can be displayed fullscreen or at a specific size.

We will be starting off with a Sprite based Screen Saver so high light it and click on next.
